The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV. Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of all individuals on site. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds, identifying potential security risks or hazards. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents or suspicious activities. Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security management or law enforcement is preferred. Proven experience in surveillance operations, loss prevention, or a related field is an advantage. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a valid security officer certification where required by law.
