The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement and other security personnel to ensure the highest level of safety. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and reporting findings. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a visible presence to deter criminal activity. Utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor premises effectively. Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during incidents or investigations. Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage to property. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management. Skills Proficient in conflict management techniques, demonstrating the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Experience in surveillance operations, including familiarity with CCTV systems. Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures; certification is preferred. Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous. Understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
