The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within assigned areas, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing a visible presence to deter criminal activity. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding the law. Duties Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor premises and gather evidence when necessary. Enforce laws and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Participate in ongoing training programs to maintain certifications in CPR, first aid, and other relevant skills. Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory. Valid CPR certificate and first aid certification are highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is an asset. Ability to remain alert and observant while patrolling assigned areas for extended periods. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents accurately. A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining public trust in law enforcement practices.
