The Security Shift Supervisor is to assist Braves Security Management in overseeing all life/safety aspects of Truist Park relating to structure, property, and its occupants. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Direct, train and evaluate the performance of facility security officer personnel.
Perform regular and detailed security checks of Braves property. Maintain schedule of facility security staff to ensure optimal site coverage.
Monitor, oversee and demonstrate proficiency in the use of surveillance cameras, access control systems and alarm panels.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
Maintain and manage daily security duty logs, events of the day and incident report process in a thorough and timely manner.
Issue, log, and ensure operability of all required security equipment to authorized personnel.
Respond to and report all issues or concerns pertaining to security/safety immediately to security management and other departments as needed.
Investigate incidents to determine/recommend problem solutions.
Exemplify quality leadership and motivate the workforce.
Escort employees, staff and visitors as required.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to work assigned shift hours and assist with supervisory coverage on other shifts as needed (6:45a-3:00p; 2:45p-11:00p; 10:45p-7:00a), weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Some college or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive security supervisory experience with an established entity.
Highly effective communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
Leadership skills balanced with the ability to be a collaborative team player.
Strong organization skills (i.e., proactive, detail oriented) and ability to excel under pressure.
An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Initiative with the ability to accept a high degree of responsibility and act with a sense of urgency and accountability.
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate and improvise security solutions.
The candidate must pass a criminal and credit background checks and a drug test (subject to random drug test upon hire). In addition to the above, the following qualifications are deemed advantageous: Degree in Criminal Justice

Act Certification knowledge
Military service with a documented emphasis on security
