Safety and Security Advisor Position Available In Glynn, Georgia

Position SummaryThe Safety and Security Advisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the Center. This position involves investigating accidents and incidents, conducting safety inspections, and enforcing health regulations. The advisor also monitors student behavior, provides supervision, and ensures that quality programs and services are delivered to meet student needs. ResponsibilitiesAssist the Safety and Security Department in maintaining a safe and secure environmentInvestigate accidents and incidents and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective actionConduct routine safety inspections and assessments of equipment and facilitiesEnforce occupational safety and health regulations and standardsConduct and document incident and accident investigationsPerform routine security tours and monitor student activitiesRespond to emergency situations and requestsManage Center security, visitor control, and student accountabilityAssist in conducting dorm inspections and searches for contrabandMaintain cleanliness and security of Center facilities and propertyHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
