Overnight Security Guard Formaggio Italian Cheese Specialties Hurleyville, NY 12747 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall safety of the premises. The shift would be Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 5:00 am. Weekends would only be in case of an emergency. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and security systems including CCTV surveillance. Maintain security logs. Maintain refrigerated trailer logs. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances using conflict management techniques. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures including CPR and First Aid protocols. Requirements Previous , or . New York State Security License is Mandatory. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
