The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training in law enforcement and conflict management to ensure the safety of the premises. Previous Military or Law Enforcement Preferred. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies. Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings in reports. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Ability to operate security equipment such as CCTV systems. Must possess a valid armed security officer license or certification as required by state regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
