Unarmed Security Officer Tactical Impact Security 1742 Bilbo St, Lake Charles, LA 70601 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access. Provide assistance in conflict management situations, ensuring de-escalation techniques are applied effectively. Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks or hazards. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports of incidents. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus. Military experience is considered an asset but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
