Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of all company property, personnel, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting regular patrols, and responding to emergencies or security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access at gates, entrances, and restricted areas. Patrol company premises (indoors and outdoors) regularly to identify and prevent potential security risks. Check surveillance cameras and respond to suspicious activity. Enforce company rules and regulations regarding safety and security. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, and report findings accurately. Write detailed daily activity and incident reports. Assist employees and visitors with security-related inquiries. Inspect and secure doors, windows, and gates at designated times. Support emergency response efforts (e.g., fire evacuation, medical incidents). Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role preferred. Basic knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods. Strong observational and communication skills. Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergencies.
