The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity or breaches of security. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, implementing appropriate measures. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary. Document incidents and prepare reports for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement when required during investigations or emergencies. Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations as needed. Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess a valid security guard license or certification where applicable. Physical fitness to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly in emergencies.
