The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and assets. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Guard will play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor premises. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Conduct thorough inspections of facilities and property to identify potential security risks. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Provide first aid or CPR as needed in emergency situations. Document incidents and prepare reports for management review. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Skills Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred. Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment operation. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies. Ability to manage conflicts effectively with strong communication skills. Familiarity with militarized security protocols is an asset. Attention to detail and strong observational skills are essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
