Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated, observant, and team-oriented, professionals to help maintain the safety and security of our campus. As a key member of our school community, you will build strong relationships with our cadets, staff, and families while promoting a culture of accountability, support, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor school entrances, hallways, parking lots, and campus grounds Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner Enforce school policies and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment Serve as a visible and approachable presence for cadets and staff Assist with traffic flow, arrival/dismissal, and campus events Collaborate with administrators, counselors, and law enforcement as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or school settings preferred. Applicants for the position of Armed School Security Officer
LA P.O.S.T.
Level 1 certified Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and think clearly in high-pressure situations Must pass a background check, psychological assessment and any required certifications.
