Job Summary:
- The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors at Guste Homes properties. This role involves patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access points, and responding to incidents in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, and committed to community safety

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises
- Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the property to deter criminal activity and ensure safety
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and incidents promptly and appropriately
- Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor or property management
- Complete and maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Assist residents and visitors with general information or concerns related to security
- Ensure compliance with property rules and local regulations
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Security Officer license (or ability to obtain one in Louisiana
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass background check and drug screening
