The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security protocols are followed. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on the premises. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns. Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to monitor activities within designated areas. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies. Skills Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Proficiency in report writing to document incidents accurately and comprehensively. Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment operation for effective monitoring. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus, enhancing situational awareness and response capabilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals in various scenarios.
