Security Guard Position Available In Barnstable, Massachusetts

Thirwood Place, Cape Cod’s premier adult living community, has anopportunity to join the security team at our beautiful location in SouthYarmouth. We’re looking to fill a full-time Security Guard positionwith the right candidate who wants to be part of a dynamic team. Shiftis 4 pm to midnight four nights a week and daytime on Saturday. Theideal candidate for Security Guard will present themselves in aprofessional manner to both residents and staff and have a willingnessto perform a variety of tasks throughout their shift.

Responsibilitiesfor the Security Guard include:

• Patrolling randomly, monitoring, andcontrolling business entrances and investigating disturbances.
• Protectagainst fire, theft, illegal entry, infractions of safety regulationsand other irregularities.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment-Maintain records and prepare incident reports and other documentspertinent to security activities accurately and completely
• Investigatedisturbances and in the event of emergency, take charge of policing tomaintain order, safety and to protect property.
• Perform otherwork-related duties as requested/directed.

Will train the rightcandidate and uniform will be provided. Thirwood Place is owned by alocal family with strong roots in the community. We’re located in apicturesque area overlooking Flax Pond.
