Security Officer 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars South Yarmouth, MA 02664 Thirwood Place , Cape Cod’s premier adult living community, has an opportunity to join the security team at our beautiful location in South Yarmouth. We’re looking to fill a full-time Security Guard position with the right candidate who wants to be part of a dynamic team. Shift is 4 pm to midnight four nights a week and daytime on Saturday. The ideal candidate for Security Guard will present themselves in a professional manner to both residents and staff and have a willingness to perform a variety of tasks throughout their shift. Responsibilities for the Security Guard include:

• Patrolling randomly, monitoring, and controlling business entrances and investigating disturbances.
• Protect against fire, theft, illegal entry, infractions of safety regulations and other irregularities.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Maintain records and prepare incident reports and other documents pertinent to security activities accurately and completely
• Investigate disturbances and in the event of emergency, take charge of policing to maintain order, safety and to protect property.
• Perform other work-related duties as requested/directed.

Will train the right candidate and uniform will be provided. Thirwood Place is owned by a local family with strong roots in the community. We’re located in a picturesque area overlooking Flax Pond.
