Full Job Description Security Personnel About Collective Premium Cannabis:

Collective Premium Cannabis is a growing company in the growing industry of cannabis! Collective is in its 4th year of operation and currently operates 3 retail dispensaries in Littleton, Billerica, and West Boylston. Collective is seeking a part-time candidate who wants to thrive in the security department within the Littleton location! We are conveniently located right off route 495 in Littleton, close to The Point shopping center, Dunks and Starbucks! We offer our employees 30% off ALL of our products. We offer our employees LOTS of training and support. We are a local, family-owned business who is looking to finalize its security team within the Littleton location. Description:

Security Personnel monitor the state-of-the-art security systems including alarms, video surveillance, and motion detectors. Security Personnel are responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted access to the Collective facility by verifying appropriate ID cards and other forms of identification. In addition, Security Personnel may be responsible to perform other duties upon request:

Authority & Supervision:

All Security Personnel will report directly to the Director of Security.

Duties & Responsibilities:

▪ Investigate, communicate, and provide leadership in the event of an emergency such as an intrusion, fire, or other threat which jeopardizes customers, authorized visitors, and Collective agents; ▪ Respond and investigate security situations and alarm calls; clearly document the incident and details surrounding the incident in a written report for the Director of Security; ▪ Help with the general interior and exterior property maintenance during periodic sweeps – ie. pick up any trash or cigarette butts, all necessary signage is in place, etc.; ▪ Assist with ensuring safe and smooth product transports however necessary; ▪ Oversee the entrance to the facility and verify credentials of each person seeking access to Collective’s facility; ▪ Answer routine inquiries or properly redirect; ▪ Maintain visitor log & entries; ▪ Escort authorized visitors in restricted access areas; and ▪ Perform security checks at designated intervals.

Qualifications:

▪ High School Diploma or G.E.D.; related experience preferred.▪ Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
  • Courteous telephone manner.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide high quality customer service.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Good de-escalation skills Physical capabilities: ▪ Must be able to li a minimum of 50 lbs unassisted▪ With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: ▪
  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations. ▪
  • May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area. ▪
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, ▪
  • Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.▪
  • Basic computer usage▪
  • Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others.▪
  • Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time ▪
  • Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. ▪
  • On occasion may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
