This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Schedule This is an on-call position ONLY. Must be available to work as needed between the hours of 6am-11pm. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Conduct regular inspections of premises, including surveillance of CCTV systems. Enforce rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage to property. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques. Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., First Aid, CPR). Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess a valid security officer certificate or be willing to obtain one.
