Campus Monitor Leicester Public Schools 174 Paxton Street, Leicester, MA 01524 JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously patrol the school building(s), campus, parking lot(s), and grounds, including unsupervised areas.
Immediately notify the school administration of behavior issues or student handbook violations and intervene as appropriate if the situation warrants.
Monitor in-school suspensions, lunch detentions, and after-school detentions.
Help monitor and track habitually tardy students.
Assisted in supervising students’ arrival, dismissal, and breakfast and lunch periods.
Assist students in ensuring smooth and timely student transitions through and between buildings.
Greet visitors, check for proper identification, and escort them to exits if not authorized.
Serve as a role model for students in behavior, attire, and professional grooming.
Maintain flexibility and employ problem-solving skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families. Effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Attend additional training and professional development to meet the conditions and responsibilities of the position.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal or designee to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the school.
