The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Document incidents and prepare reports on security breaches or unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing assistance in investigations or emergencies. Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate potential disturbances or confrontations. Participate in ongoing training related to loss prevention, surveillance techniques, and emergency response. Requirements Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and practices is a plus. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Must possess a valid security guard license or certification where applicable.
