Part-Time | Unarmed We are currently seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard to join our weekend team at a youth residential facility. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working with high-risk youth and want to make a meaningful impact. Your presence and communication skills can help influence a young person’s future in a positive way. This is an unarmed position focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff. We will train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol the facility and maintain a visible, reassuring security presence Monitor and control building access points Respond appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations Use de-escalation strategies when necessary Write clear, detailed incident and shift reports Contact emergency services when appropriate

Requirements:

Experience in security, youth services, or related field preferred Must be able to walk, run, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs Clean criminal background and eligible for KCMO security license Excellent verbal and written communication skills Availability to work weekend shifts Comfortable working independently

Nice-to-Have Skills:
