Gulfport, MS 39507 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills and have experience in law enforcement or military service. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing losses, and responding to incidents effectively. Duties Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings accurately. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and their operation. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and strategies. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Must possess a valid armed security license as required by state regulations.
