The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on site. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and monitoring of premises. Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Provide first aid assistance as needed; certification in first aid and CPR is preferred. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide detailed reports of incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is an asset. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
