Position Overview Armed officers will be responsible for safeguarding people, property, and reputations in a variety of professional settings. Most assignments will include medium to high-profile commercial properties , residential communities, construction sites, or special event venues. Officers must demonstrate sound judgment, strong command presence, and the ability to respond swiftly and appropriately in both routine and emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct proactive foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas Maintain high visibility and enforce site-specific policies with professionalism and authority Identify, deter, and respond to suspicious behavior or security threats Write detailed incident and shift reports using printed or digital systems Monitor access points and control entry into restricted areas Communicate clearly with company supervisors, client personnel, and emergency responders Provide a courteous and authoritative presence for visitors, employees, and contractors Respond to alarms, disturbances, and onsite emergencies, including medical incidents Assist in detaining individuals when necessary, pending law enforcement arrival Serve as a trusted liaison between Triple J Security and client management teams

Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess a valid Mississippi firearm permit and meet all state legal requirements for armed private security Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Must be physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods and responding to dynamic situations Preferred but

Not Required:

Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private armed security Training in de-escalation, tactical awareness, and use-of-force standards Current certifications in: Taser Baton OC (Pepper Spray) (Required for certain posts) CPR/First Aid (Required for certain posts) Proficiency in basic report writing and incident documentation Ability to operate digital patrol systems, tablets, or Microsoft Office tools
