ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Greets customers positively and timely, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner. Conducts escorts as required. Demonstrates skill in dealing with customer complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the customer’s good will. Performs as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation. Observes, handles, and reports procedural violations and illegal activity. Ability to investigate assigned level of incidents and compose written reports. Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor. Maintains crowd control as required. Defuse customer profanity to ensure a friendly environment. Role model operational standards, interacting positively through relationships with guest and fellow associates displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for people’s needs. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School or Equivalent Related experience, Law Enforcement, security background is a plus Gaming background a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Basic Math skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to get a Catawba Two Kings Casino Gaming license. Ability to work with all departments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate via two-way radio Bending, Stooping, Lifting occasionally Vision must be sufficient that the Officer is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night.
