As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This position may also require driving as part of your patrol duties.

PM Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the government facility.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns according to established protocols.
Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess a valid armed security guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
A valid armed guard card or license is preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet AU Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
