• Armed Government Location in Tabor City, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity. This position may also involve driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties.

AM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the government facility.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
Must have a valid armed sidearm license or permit as required by law.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
Must possess a North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
North Carolina Security Professional Registration with Allied Universal Security is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
