As a Security Officer – Armed Healthcare Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As an armed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions with staff, patients, and visitors. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert to potential hazards or disruptions within the location and report findings to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
