Armed Security Officer or Unarmed Capitol Special Patrol Raleigh-Durham, NC We are currently seeking highly energetic and motivated individuals to join our team. We are a fast-paced and growing company and would like you to join us. Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving history (only for jobs that require driving) Must have your own transportation Must be able to pass a background check Ability to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights) required Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to communicate with other security and facility personnel over basic phone and radio systems With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Must be able to Physically Detain and deescalate volatile situations within the general populace. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state licensing requirements for Security Officers Company weapons are available if necessary. Training/certification will be provided. Ability to satisfactorily obtain and maintain appropriate certifications required. Mandatory Drug Screening .
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
HSD or equivalent required Current PPSB Registration is a huge plus Military and/or Law Enforcement experience preferred
