If you’re reliable, observant, and have strong interpersonal skills, we’d love to hear from you! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and direct them to Queeny’s or Kingfisher. Verify IDs for legal drinking age. Deny entry to anyone who is overly intoxicated, aggressive, panhandling, or violating house policies. Monitor foot traffic in and out of the establishment. Patrol the sidewalk and front patio for potential security concerns. Monitor the bar and patio areas for potential disruptions. Assist bartenders in preventing over-service by identifying concerning behavior. Provide verbal warnings and check-ins for disruptive guests. Escort guests out if they refuse to comply with house policies. De-escalate conflicts between patrons. Call law enforcement if necessary. Assist intoxicated guests in finding safe transportation home. Remain standing or walking throughout the shift. Working Schedule Security personnel will work Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am at the following locations. Management may request service on holidays such as Halloween and NYE. Security personnel should blend in with the venue’s atmosphere while maintaining a professional presence. Plain black shirts or Queeny’s-branded shirts/sweaters (provided). Jeans or black pants. Non-slip shoes or sneakers. No visible branding or logos (except Queeny’s apparel). Perks Shift meal provided at Queeny’s (may be consumed before shift or taken to-go). Experience Previous experience in a security role or law enforcement is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
