Job Description As a Security Officer – Industrial Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . Our Patrol Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location. As an unarmed officer, you will conduct routine patrols, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role involves engaging with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to report and document activities. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary. Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach. Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Applicants must have an NC Security Professional Guard Card. Customer service experience is preferred. Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
