As a Security Professional – Biotech Site in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. AM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Communicate clearly and promptly with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
