As a Security Professional – Lobby Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, adapting to the unique environment of a healthcare setting.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, or hazards according to established protocols.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to address concerns and provide guidance on access control procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
