What You’ll Do
As a Security Officer at the Winston-Salem Marriott, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property. You’ll excel in delivering exceptional service while protecting our welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Proactive Patrols:

Conduct regular patrols of the hotel’s interior and exterior to identify and address potential safety or security risks.

Emergency Response:

Act swiftly and professionally during safety hazards, medical emergencies, or other critical situations to safeguard life and property.

Guest Relations:

Respond to guest inquiries, assist with requests, and resolve issues with a friendly and solutions-focused approach.

Investigations:

Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents and maintain accurate documentation and reports as needed.

Promote Safety:

Advocate for and ensure adherence to safe work practices among staff and guests.
Assist with

Property Maintenance:

Support the overall upkeep of the hotel by collecting and disposing of trash, gathering dirty linens from hallways, and assisting with general maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who bring a professional, composed demeanor, strong problem-solving skills, and a dedication to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Specific qualifications include:

Prior experience in security or related roles is strongly preferred.
The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as patrolling, lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending or stooping.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required.
