Unarmed/Armed Security Officer Walton Security & Investigations 4004 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro, NC 27407 Job Summary The Security Officer plays a crucial role in the safety & security of the client, as well as all employees & possible patrons. This position requires dedicated individuals who are committed to upholding the law, ensuring public safety, & helping personnel quickly & effectively. The Officer is responsible for securing their assigned site, coordinating with staff to maintain a safe environment, & upholding policies to maintain order and discipline within the site. Duties Coordinate responses to emergencies, ensuring effective communication and resource allocation. Prepare reports on incidents, activities, and personnel performance for higher management review. Enforce departmental policies and procedures while promoting ethical conduct among staff. Collaborate with community organizations to foster positive relationships between the company and the community. Skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information. Proficient in conflict resolution techniques to manage disputes effectively. Knowledge of law enforcement practices, procedures, and relevant laws as per Chapter 74C of the Private Protective Services Act, Title 12, North Carolina Administrative Code. Ability to analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
