As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. PM Responsibilities:

Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at the government location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Maintain awareness of the environment and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents according to established protocols. Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and members of the public, addressing questions and concerns as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred. North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required. An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
