As a Security Officer – Mall Patrol in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the retail environment.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required for positions located in the job state.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
