As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. AM What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner while upholding site protocols.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures as directed by management.

What We’re Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for this position.
Experience in customer service is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
