Armed Security Guard M.A.S.S Security Services Charlotte, NC 28216 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Armed Guard will be expected to enforce security protocols while providing a visible deterrent against potential threats. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report any suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of premises and property to prevent loss and ensure compliance with security policies. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Engage in continuous training to stay updated on loss prevention techniques and best practices in security management. Qualifications Proven experience in a security role or law enforcement is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Ability to operate surveillance equipment effectively (CCTV). Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Military background or relevant training is a plus. Must possess a valid armed security guard license or certification as required by state regulations. Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
