Responsibilities:

• Reliable attendance is the most important requirement of this position. (Minimizing callouts to emergency only and arriving on time each day)
• Standing post (no loss prevention) detering criminal activity and protecting clients.
• Follow post orders to the letter. No daily reports, only in the event of a use of force.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.

Experience:

• MUST HAVE FIREARMS EXPERIENCE.

  Employment offer is contingent on passing armed qualification.

• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security field preferred
• Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and conflict management techniques
• Must be 21 years old, no felony convictions, no violent misdemeanors, no weapon charges, and must be a legal resident or citizen of the US.

These are the requirements to obtain a NC Armed Security registration.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Proficient in use of firearms. Candidate must score an 80% out of 100% on NC firearms course (same course law enforcement is required to perform on).

MUST NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED WITH ANY FELONIES. MUST NOT HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF ANY MISDEMEANORS RELATED TO DRUGS, VIOLENCE

(ASSAULT, BATTERY, ANIMAL CRUELTY), AND

MUST NOT HAVE HAD ANY FIREARM RELATED OFFENSES. THE STATE WILL NOT APPROVE APPLICANTS FOR LICENSING WITH ANY OF THE FOREMENTIONED CHARGES/CONVICTIONS.

MUST HAVE YOUR OWN FIREARM IN 9MM OR 40 CALIBER WITH A MINIMUM OF A LEVEL 2 HOLSTER AND THREE MAGAZINES.

(Limited inventory available for those who do not own a firearm).
