The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security across various locations. This position requires adaptability, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. The Flex Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with security protocols while providing excellent customer service. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents. Document all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud situations. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors. Qualifications Prior experience in security is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is an asset. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must pass a background check and any required training certifications.
