Charlotte, NC 28273 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing exceptional service. The Security Officer will monitor premises through various means, including CCTV and surveillance systems, and respond effectively to any incidents or emergencies. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to detect any security breaches or hazards. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary; maintain certification in these areas. Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required during investigations or emergencies. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Qualifications Must have reliable transportation & Cell Phone High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is preferred. Proven experience in security roles or related fields is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to security are a plus. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A militarized background is beneficial but not mandatory; candidates with law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
