Mitchell County, NC Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV and other security systems. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or any suspicious activities. Enforce rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage. Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid/CPR protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
