As a Security Professional – Education Patrol in Rocky Mount, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support the needs of students, staff, and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintaining a visible presence.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the educational environment.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed.
Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities during incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
