• Armed Utilities Site in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and responsibly manage a firearm while on duty. AM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the industrial environment.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary during incidents or emergencies.
Document and communicate all observations, incidents, and activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or have an equivalent qualification.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet AU driver policy requirements.
Must possess a valid Corrections Officer License.
Must possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
