We are currently accepting applications for Access Control Support Specialists, contingent upon contract award, to support daily credentialing and vehicle screening operations at a major Marine Corps installation in Jacksonville, NC. This is a mission-critical role ensuring only properly vetted personnel and vehicles gain access to the base. Veterans and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply. This role is 100% on-site M-F. Key Responsibilities Process base access applications and verify credentials using DBIDS, CLEOC, and related systems. Issue visitor and contractor passes in accordance with base policy. Conduct liaison and escort coordination for commercial vehicles, verifying documentation and directing traffic. Monitor CV lanes and staging areas for safety, flow, and compliance. Report expired, suspicious, or non-compliant identification or documentation. Maintain daily logbooks and submit reports to designated government authorities. Provide clear, professional communication to visitors and contractors throughout the screening process. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform and safety gear requirements. Minimum Qualifications Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred. Familiarity with access control procedures, credentialing systems, or administrative vetting a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic database tools. Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills. Must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) prior to onboarding. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing). Physically capable of standing for extended periods and working in outdoor environments. Additional Requirements Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must complete required annual trainings including Cyber Awareness, Anti-Terrorism, PII, Privacy Act, and Records Management. Must adhere to all base security policies and appearance standards.
