Understand and follow all standard operating procedures Required to be the lead trainer supporting OJT, day to day officer training and knowledgeable/ experience of the security operations center Observe and report all suspicious activity Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Operating Procedures for emergencies Maintain compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable) Completes incident reports as required Attend weekly, monthly meeting as requested by Security Management Conduct interviews/ hiring Conduct post inspections Create training schedules for new hire officers Determine new hire requirements and training requirements Ensure that all contracted hours of coverage are met Ensure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to NASEM Participate in site and community events an training that supports facility initiatives Provide instruction and guidance for all officers Recruit, staff and train in accordance switch NASEM requirements Supervise Lieutenants and Sergeants and daily security operations Complete officer timesheets and payroll Coordinates officer supply/ uniform needs Coordinates officer vacation / time•off requests Coordinates fleet maintenance program Coordinates and provides oversight for the VIP tour operations Oversees I.S state and company flag maintenance / replacement Coordinates fire system inspection/ maintenance Where applicable, coordinate and schedule security/emergency response officer to conduct monthly shop inspections, and work with fire management Manages random bag check schedule Mange lock and key control Manage lost and found Liaison for local Law Enforcement tours, training or exercise events and orientation Monitor weather alerts through SkyGuard or other notification systems and make appropriate notifications Ensure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to NASEM Provide instruction and guidance on use of security systems for all officers Escalates Security/Fire/Safety issues to Site Manager immediately

Qualifications:

At least three (3) years’ experience in an administrative and supervisory capacity At least three (3) years’ experience in either Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Fire Service or Emergency Management Possess a thorough knowledge (or the ability to) of NASEM’s security and/or fire suppression SOWs Be available to receive and implement orders or instructions from NASEM that affect the operations of the security officers Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and any supplier programs Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with NASEM leadership Ability to adjust working hours to support the leadership team Valid State of North Carolina security license or ability to obtain At least 21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent
