The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while effectively managing any potential conflicts. The Security Officer will utilize their skills in law enforcement, surveillance, and loss prevention to protect assets and ensure the safety of individuals on the premises. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to any incidents or alarms. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security measures are in place. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques while maintaining a calm demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies, ensuring the well-being of individuals on site. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents and observations. Enforce company policies and procedures regarding access control, loss prevention, and emergency protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Qualifications Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets against theft or damage. Certification in First Aid and CPR and additional training in emergency response is a plus. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
