  • Unarmed Government Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. AM What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as required.
Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.

What We’re Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving in the job state.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
