Position Overview:

Central Guards Security is currently seeking dedicated and exceptionally reliable individuals exclusively for Part-Time, Weekend Overnight shifts on our Campus Safety Team in Rindge, NH. We have immediate openings for two Campus Safety Officers and one Team Lead to work the 3rd shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM) on Saturdays and Sundays . Shift:

Saturdays & Sundays, 12:00 AM – 8:00

AM Positions:

1 Team Lead (TL) @ $20.00/hr 2 Campus Safety Officers @ $19.00/hr

Status:

Part-Time (16 hours per weekend) (Please note: We are ONLY hiring for these specific weekend overnight positions at this time.)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular overnight patrols across campus during weekend shifts to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and property. Monitor and respond promptly to security alarms and incidents during the 3rd shift on weekends. Enforce university policies and regulations consistently. Learn and maintain proper phone etiquette when handling calls. Unlock doors for authorized students, faculty, and staff upon request. Issue parking permits, warnings, and tickets as necessary. Occasionally fill in shifts during large events on campus (may fall outside standard hours, requires flexibility). Provide assistance during emergencies and coordinate effectively with local law enforcement as necessary. Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents occurring during the shift. (Team Lead Specific): Provide guidance and support to Officers on shift, act as a point person for escalations, ensure adherence to protocols.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have or be willing and able to obtain a New Hampshire Guard Card prior to starting (required by state law).

CRITICAL REQUIREMENT

MUST possess and maintain a working, reliable cell phone at all times while on duty for essential communication.

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT

ABSOLUTELY MUST possess consistently reliable personal transportation. This position requires unwavering punctuality for the overnight weekend shifts in Rindge, NH. Public transportation, taxis, and rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are NOT considered reliable transportation for this role due to shift timing and location. You must be able to guarantee your independent arrival on time for every scheduled shift, regardless of weather or other factors. Failure to meet this requirement will disqualify applicants. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle potentially stressful situations with professionalism, especially during overnight hours. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Must be available and committed to working the specified overnight (12am-8am) shifts EVERY Saturday and Sunday. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred. Supervisory experience is a plus for the Team Lead role.
